Travel and Lodging
General Information
MW ASPB attendees must reserve and pay for their own lodging. You may reserve lodging at the following hotels that are close to the conference center, or any other nearby hotel. Conference attendees are encouraged to make their lodging reservations early in order to ensure that rooms are still available.
Hotels
Listed hotels are all located in the downtown area within walking distance of the conference.
The Graduate by Hilton
Parking: The current rate is $23.00 / night, pets allowed with $75 non-refundable fee.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Lincoln
Parking: Parking current rate is $11.25 per day for self-park, and $22 per day for valet.
Courtyard by Marriott Lincoln Downtown/Haymarket
Parking: Parking current rate is $19 per day for self-park, and $20 per day for valet. Both options include in/out privilege and guaranteed entry if the garage sign says Full. City parking is $11.25 per day on an as-available basis.
Hilton Garden Inn Lincoln Downtown/Haymarket
Parking: Parking current rate is $16 per day for self-park or valet with the group rate.
Hyatt Place Lincoln Downtown-Haymarket
Parking: Complimentary and included in the room rate. Parking is available in the Red One garage next to the hotel.
Traveling to Lincoln
The 2025 Midwest conference is expected to begin at 7:45 a.m. CT on Sunday, March 22nd (with an option to tour facilities on Friday March 21st beginning at 3pm) and it will end by 12:05 a.m. CT on Sunday, March 23rd. You should make your travel plans in such a way that you can be here for the entire conference.
Air Travel
Flights into Lincoln, Nebraska, are available from United Airlines and few other airlines. Lincoln is served by the Lincoln Municipal Airport, just a 10-minute drive to downtown Lincoln. Direct connections are available through Chicago and Denver. If you are flying into Lincoln and staying at one of the hotels listed on the ISPL website, contact the hotel directly to make arrangements for ground transport to/from the airport. If you opt for lodging arrangements outside of those on the conference website, taxi and ride-hailing services (Uber, Lyft) are an option for transport to hotels.
There are also many flights, and more airline options, available in and out of Omaha, Nebraska, through the Omaha Eppley Airfield, located 60 miles/97 km and a one-hour drive to the conference hotels. Occasionally you can find flights into Omaha which are significantly less expensive than flights into Lincoln.
There are shuttle services that you can reserve for ground transport from Omaha Eppley Airport to downtown Lincoln: Leisure Limousine and OmaLink. Car rentals are also available at the airport.
OMALiNK Instructions
OMALiNK shuttle rate from Omaha to Lincoln is about $100 one way. Gratuity for the drivers would be in addition to this total. Book at least 48 hours in advance at www.omalink.com. They will deliver you from the airport to your hotel.
Driving into Lincoln
If you are driving into Lincoln, you will most likely be coming in from Interstate 80, or traveling from Interstate 29, via Highway 2 (Nebraska Highway). Downtown Lincoln is accessible from I-80, from the east, via Exit 401. From there, take Interstate 180 to downtown. I-180 becomes 9th Street. If traveling from the west on Interstate 80, take Highway 6 into downtown which will turn into O St. Hotels listed in the travel section are all located in the downtown, Haymarket and Railyard areas within walking distance of the conference.
